Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the photography tour? Can kids participate?

A: There’s no strict age limit for the NYC Icon Photography Tour! Kids are welcome to join, but it’s best suited for ages 10 and up since they’ll be using cameras and walking around a lot. Just keep in mind that it’s a fast-paced tour, so younger kids might get tired quickly. Bring a camera or smartphone, and they’ll have a blast capturing the sights!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Do they cancel or reschedule the tour?

A: If the weather looks bad, they will try to reschedule you for a different date. They want everyone to have a great experience, so it’s better to do the tour when it’s nice outside! Just keep an eye on your email, as they’ll notify you if there are any changes due to weather.

Q: What should I wear for the photography tour? Is there a lot of walking?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes because you’ll be walking quite a bit! A light jacket is also a good idea, just in case it gets breezy, especially near Central Park. Dress in layers so you can adjust based on the weather. Remember, you'll want to be comfortable while you're focusing on getting those great shots!

Thinking about the NYC Icon Photography Tour as a gift! Anyone done it?

I’m considering getting this photography tour for my sister's birthday since she loves taking pictures. Has anyone done the tour? What are the best spots they cover? I hope she can learn a lot from the local photographer leading it. The idea of capturing the Empire State and Central Park sounds amazing, but I’m curious if it’s really worth it!

Anyone else nervous about booking the photography tour?

I really want to book the NYC Icon Photography Tour, but I’m nervous about how good I’ll be at photography. I don’t have much experience, and it’s for my friend’s gift. Is it really for all levels? What if we can’t keep up?
