Q&A

Q: Are there age limits for this food tour? Can kids join?

A: Yes, kids can definitely join! The tour is family-friendly and there are tastings that appeal to all ages. Just keep in mind that some of the food might be more adult-oriented, but the guides usually have kid-friendly options too. It's a great way for families to explore the city together!

Q: What should we wear? Is it mostly walking?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes since there’s a lot of walking involved! The tour covers various stops around the Lower East Side, so you want to be prepared. Dress in layers depending on the weather, as NYC can be unpredictable. A light jacket might be a good idea in case it gets chilly!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Do they cancel?

A: Good question! They do run the tour in light rain, but if it’s really bad, they’ll usually contact you to reschedule. I’d recommend checking the forecast before you go and being flexible with your plans. The food is worth it regardless!

Thinking about gifting this food tour to my parents!

My folks are coming to NYC next month, and I’m considering getting them the Lower East Side Food Tour. They love exploring new foods but are a bit picky eaters. Do you all think this would be a good fit? I want them to have a fun experience without being overwhelmed by the food choices!
