Q&A
A: The Newport Ghosts tour is generally suitable for all ages; however, some of the stories can be a bit intense for younger kids. I’d say it's best for ages 10 and up. If you're bringing younger ones, just be prepared to explain a few spooky tales afterwards!
A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since you’ll be walking about a mile outside. I recommend layering up because it can get chilly by the water, especially in the evenings. Also, check the weather ahead of time in case of rain!
A: The tour meets at Washington Square, which is pretty central in Newport. There are several parking lots nearby, but they can fill up quickly, especially on weekends. Arrive a bit early to find a spot so you don’t miss the start!

Just did the Newport Ghosts tour—So cool!
I just got back from the Newport Ghosts: Seaside Hauntings and Hags Tour and it was awesome! The guide had so many creepy stories, especially about the haunted houses on Long Wharf. We strolled through Washington Square at night, which felt super eerie. I went with a few friends, and we all loved the spooky vibes! Highly recommend it for a fun night out if you’re into ghost stories.
Considering gifting the Newport Ghosts tour—Thoughts?
I’m thinking about getting the Newport Ghosts tour for my sister’s birthday. She’s really into history and ghost stories! What do you guys think? Would it be a good gift? Also, is it really scary? I don’t want her to freak out!
