Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Ni'ihau and Na Pali Coast tour? Would it be suitable for a 7-year-old?

A: Yes, kids are welcome on the tour! There isn't a strict age limit, but most children should be comfortable on a boat for several hours. Make sure to bring life jackets for your little one, as they can provide those but it's better to have something that's a good fit. Also, just keep an eye out for the waves—some days can get a little bumpy.

Q: What should we wear for the snorkeling part? Any specific tips?

A: Definitely wear a swimsuit and bring a rash guard if you have one—it's super sunny out there! Also, water shoes can help a lot when getting in and out of the boat. Don't forget sunscreen, but try to use reef-safe options since you're in such a beautiful area. A towel for after the snorkeling is a must!

Q: How likely is it that our tour will be canceled due to weather? What’s the policy on rescheduling?

A: Weather can definitely impact tours. They usually monitor the conditions closely and will cancel if it's not safe. If that happens, you can reschedule for another day without any extra fees! Just check the forecast leading up to your tour, and keep in touch with the charter if you're worried. They'll send you updates.

Just got back from the Ni'ihau and Na Pali Coast tour—WOW!

I can’t recommend this tour enough! The scenery along the Na Pali Coast is just breathtaking. We saw dolphins and sea turtles while snorkeling at Lehua Crater, and the lunch was pretty solid. The catamaran was super comfortable, and the crew were so knowledgeable about the area. It was a full day but totally worth it! If you’re thinking of gifting this, go for it—everyone in my group loved it.

Thinking about booking the Ni'ihau tour for my parents—anyone done it?

I want to surprise my folks with this tour when we visit Kauai. They love nature and snorkeling, but I’m worried about how long it is—7 hours seems like a lot. Is it really enjoyable the whole time? Any tips?
