See the breathtaking Niagara Falls illuminated at night from several different vantage points on this night tour of Niagara Falls. Every evening beginning at dusk, Niagara Falls is illuminated in an array of colors, making it one of the most majestic places on earth. See this bucket list experience from Luna Island, located between Goat Island and Niagara Falls State Park, Terrapin Point at the tip of Goat Island next to the Canadian Falls, and Prospect Point Observation Tower, all with a local tour guide to provide context on the history and fun facts about the new 8th Wonder of the World. Choose a 60-minute tour that includes the American and Bridal Falls, or a 90-minute tour that includes Horseshoe Falls as well. The Maid of the Mist boat ride is not available after the 8:30 pm walking tour. The boat operates during daytime hours only. Guests who wish to enjoy the boat ride should plan for the next day, or earlier in the day before the night tour.

Q&A

Q: Is there a specific age limit for children to join this tour?

A: There's no strict age limit for this tour, but it's really best suited for kids ages 6 and up, mainly because they might appreciate the lights and history more. Younger kids are welcome too, just keep in mind they might get tired since it lasts 60 to 90 minutes. Also, parents are responsible for them during the tour. Enjoy the lights!

Q: What happens if it rains on the night of the tour?

A: The tour typically operates rain or shine, but if the weather is severe, they may cancel for safety reasons. If that happens, you'll get a full refund or can reschedule for another night. Just check the forecast ahead of time and dress accordingly!

Q: Is parking easy near the starting point of the tour?

A: Parking can be a bit tricky since it's a popular tourist area. There are some lots around Niagara Falls State Park, but they fill up fast, especially during peak times. I'd recommend arriving early to find parking or using public transport if possible. Don't forget to check if there are any parking fees!

Thinking about doing the night tour for my anniversary!

Hey everyone! I’m planning on surprising my partner with the Niagara Falls Night Illumination Tour for our anniversary next month. I love the idea of seeing the falls lit up at night! Has anyone done this? What’s the best time to go? I'm leaning towards the 90-minute tour so we can catch Horseshoe Falls too. Any tips?

Just did the illumination tour and it was AMAZING!

Wow, I can't recommend the Niagara Falls Night Illumination Tour enough! We did the 60-minute one and it was perfect. The colors on the falls are mesmerizing, especially from Luna Island. Our guide was super knowledgeable too. Just make sure you wear comfy shoes because you’ll be walking a lot. We loved every minute!
