Q&A

Q: Can I take kids on this tour? What age is recommended?

A: Yes, kids can definitely join the tour! It's family-friendly, but I’d say kids 5 and up would enjoy it the most. There’s a lot of walking and some longer bus rides, so make sure they’re up for it. Just check if they have any specific age restrictions for certain activities, like the cruise on Thousand Islands.

Q: What should we wear for the Niagara Falls portion? Is it wet?

A: Definitely wear something you don’t mind getting a little wet. A light waterproof jacket is a good idea because the mist from the falls can get pretty strong! Don’t forget comfy shoes since there’s a lot of walking. If you’re going in the summer, layers are nice too, as it can get warm.

Q: What’s the hotel situation like? Are they nice?

A: The hotels are decent! You typically get a mix of chains, so you might stay at places like Holiday Inn or similar. They usually have two double beds or a king/queen, and they're clean and comfortable. We had no issues. Just remember that the rooms can fill up quickly, especially in tourist season, so book early!

Thinking of gifting the Niagara Falls tour! Anyone done it?

I’m planning to surprise my parents with the Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands, and D.C. tour for their anniversary. They’ve never been to the falls, and I think it’ll be an amazing experience. I love that it includes the Corning Glass Center too! Can anyone share their experiences? What should I definitely make sure they pack?

Just got back from the tour! Here’s what I thought.

I just got back from the Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands, and D.C. tour and it was absolutely amazing! The views at the falls were breathtaking, plus the cruise was super fun. The hotel was nice and the guides were super helpful. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a solid getaway!
