Q&A
A: If you need to reschedule, you can usually do it by contacting Empire Vacations directly. They are pretty flexible, but it’s best to do it at least a week in advance. Just keep in mind that some dates may book up quickly, especially during peak season. Make sure to check their cancellation policy as well!
A: This tour is definitely family-friendly! Kids as young as 5 can enjoy the Maid of the Mist and the 1000 Islands cruise. They just need to be able to handle some walking and the tour guide keeps the pace easy. It might not be ideal for toddlers, though, since there are a few longer bus rides.
A: Your hotel stay covers two nights at decent hotels, including breakfast, which is a nice perk. Just keep in mind that taxes and resort fees may apply, but they should be included in the price you see when booking. Always good to double-check, though!

Thoughts on the Niagara Falls Tour from NYC?
Hey everyone! I’m considering this 3-day tour to Niagara Falls and the 1000 Islands as a gift for my parents. They love exploring nature but aren’t super adventurous. The Maid of the Mist and the cruise sound amazing, but I’m wondering if it gets too crowded in summer? Also, how's the hotel experience? Any tips?
Just got back from the Niagara Falls tour – what a trip!
I just returned from the Niagara Falls, Toronto, and 1000 Islands tour, and it was incredible! The Maid of the Mist was a highlight for sure. I took so many pictures! The bus rides were comfy, and our guide was super knowledgeable. I recommend bringing a light jacket for the boat ride since it gets chilly when you’re close to the falls. Highly recommend this for a fun getaway!
