Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for participants in the Night Photography Workshop?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but it's best for teens and adults who can handle some late-night hours. Younger kids might find it tough to stay awake and focused in the dark. Just make sure whoever you gift it to is comfortable with the night setting and can carry a camera!

Q: What should I wear for the Night Photography Workshop in Grand Teton?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get quite cold after sunset, even in summer. A warm jacket, comfortable shoes, and maybe a beanie would be smart. Also, don’t forget to bring a flashlight for navigating around the park!

Q: Can the workshop be rescheduled if the weather's bad?

A: Yes, the workshop can be rescheduled if the weather doesn’t cooperate. The instructor is pretty flexible and keeps an eye on forecasts to ensure a good experience. Just reach out to them as soon as you know you might need to change plans!

Just did the Night Photography Workshop in Grand Teton - Highly recommend!

I just got back from the Night Photography Workshop with Free Roaming Photography, and wow, it was incredible! The guide was super knowledgeable and helped us get amazing shots of the Milky Way. The snacks were a nice touch, and they provided bottled water which was great since we were out there for hours. I can’t believe this is a free experience! Perfect for nature lovers and photography newbies alike.

Considering gifting the Night Photography Workshop - any thoughts?

I’m thinking of gifting this Night Photography Workshop to my brother who loves photography. He’s always talking about the stars and has a decent camera but doesn’t know how to use it properly yet. I saw it’s in Grand Teton, which is stunning. Anyone here done it? Is it good for beginners?
