Q&A
A: Definitely dress in layers! The High Desert can get pretty chilly at night, even in the summer. I recommend bringing a good jacket and maybe a blanket if you get cold easily. Also, comfy shoes are a must since you'll be moving around a bit during the shoot.
A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather doesn't cooperate! Just make sure to contact the Cascade Center of Photography as soon as you know there's an issue. They’re pretty flexible with rescheduling, which is great. Just keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your tour.
A: Absolutely! This tour is designed for all skill levels, so you don't need to be a pro. You can bring any camera, even a smartphone, and the guide will help you get great shots! It's a fun way to learn something new while enjoying the night sky.

Just did the Night Sky Photo Tour in Bend! Here’s my take!
I just got back from the night sky photo tour and OMG, it was incredible! We started around 9 PM and had the best guide who knew all the best spots. The stars were so bright! I’ve never seen the Milky Way like that before. I brought my DSLR, but my friend just used her phone, and the pics turned out awesome. Highly recommend this for anyone who loves photography or just wants a unique experience. It was worth every penny!
Thinking about gifting the Night Sky Photo Tour for my partner’s birthday!
So I'm considering getting this night sky photo tour for my partner who loves photography. I’ve never done this before, and I’m a little nervous about how it will go. Is it really beginner-friendly? Also, how flexible are they if we want to change the date? Any tips would be great!
