Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the kayaking tour on Lake Tahoe?

A: Yes, there are age restrictions. Participants must be at least 8 years old to join the tour. Kids under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult. It's a fun experience for families, but make sure the younger ones are comfortable in water!

Q: What should I wear for the nighttime kayaking experience?

A: Dress in layers! It can get chilly at night on the water, so a light jacket or fleece is a good idea. Don't forget comfortable shoes that can get wet. Also, bring a hat if you’re sensitive to cooler breezes!

Q: What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather looks bad for your tour, Clearly Tahoe will usually contact you to reschedule. They prioritize safety, so if it's too windy or stormy, they won’t head out. Make sure to check your email before you go!

Just did the LED kayaking tour on Lake Tahoe! Here’s my take.

I went on the Nighttime LED Stargazing Clear Kayak Tour last weekend, and it was AMAZING! The LED lights under the kayak created such a magical vibe as we paddled through the night. The guide was really chill and gave us some fun facts about the stars. Totally worth the price! Just a heads up, it did get a bit cold, so dress warmly. 😊

Planning to gift the kayaking experience, any advice?

I’m thinking of getting the LED kayak tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves nature and stargazing! Is this good for someone who's never kayaked before? Also, do they offer any photography during the tour? I want to capture all those stars!
