Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the NOLA Garden District and Lafayette Cemetery tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but I'd say it's best suited for ages 10 and up. The tour includes some historical context about burial practices that might be a bit heavy for younger kids. However, younger teens might enjoy the spooky stories!

Q: What should we wear for the cemetery tour? Is it outdoors?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes! The tour is mostly outdoors, and you’ll be walking around the Garden District and by the cemetery gates. Light clothing is a good idea too since New Orleans can get pretty hot. And don't forget sunscreen!

Q: What if it rains? Do we get a refund or reschedule?

A: If it rains, you can usually reschedule for another day without any issue. They usually check the weather and will notify you if it’s unsafe to go ahead with the tour. Just keep an eye on your email!

Just did the Garden District and Cemetery Gates tour, and wow!

I went on the NOLA Garden District tour last weekend, and it was such a cool experience! Our guide was super knowledgeable, sharing stories about Anne Rice's home and even pointing out where Brad Pitt filmed. The cemetery’s closed, but seeing the gates was still fascinating. I loved learning about the unique burial practices too! Definitely recommend for anyone visiting!

Thinking of gifting the Garden District tour, but have questions!

I'm considering gifting the NOLA Garden District tour to my parents for their anniversary, but I'm a bit nervous. How long does the tour last? And what if they don't enjoy history? Are there other cool aspects to it? Let me know your thoughts!
