Welcome to the North End Food Tour! One of Boston's oldest and most important neighborhoods, the North End is most known for its multi-generation Italian-American culture, as well as its abundance of seafood, markets, and cafes. The group will have tastings at 5 different locations while learning about the North End's rich history and its contribution to the growth of Boston. During this tour, we'll taste the following: -Clams casino from an over 50-year-old family-run waterfront restaurant -An Italian sub from one of Boston's most acclaimed sandwich shops -Meatballs from a salumeria in a tucked-away alley off of Hanover St -Florentine cannoli from a 24/7 bakery that's been a North End institution since 1926 -Tiramisu from the oldest Italian cafe in Boston As a parting gift for joining the tour, you will receive a post-tour email highlighting my favorite places to visit, activities to enjoy, and hundreds of local food & drink options while you're in the Boston area.

Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement for the North End Food Tour?

A: There's no strict age limit for the North End Food Tour, but keep in mind that it involves walking and food tastings that might be better suited for older kids and adults. If you're considering it for younger kids, just make sure they enjoy trying different foods and can walk for about 2-3 hours. I've seen families bring kids as young as 8, and they had a blast!

Q: What should I wear for the North End Food Tour? Any tips?

A: Dress comfortably since you'll be walking a lot! Sneakers are a must, and I'd suggest layering up if the weather looks unpredictable. Boston can get chilly in the evening, even in summer. Also, consider wearing something you won't mind getting a little messy—those meatballs can be juicy!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the food tour? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather's really bad, you can definitely reschedule the tour! Just reach out to Up and Adam Food Tours, and they'll help you pick another date. They’re pretty accommodating about it. Make sure to check the forecast ahead of time though, just in case!

Thinking about gifting the North End Food Tour for my foodie friend!

I found this North End Food Tour in Boston, and it sounds amazing! They’re tasting clams casino, Italian subs, and even tiramisu from the oldest café! I think my friend would love the history part too. But I'm a bit worried if it’ll be enough food for a meal. Would it be too much walking for a casual foodie? Anyone tried this before?

Just did the North End Food Tour – it was incredible!

Wow, I just got back from the North End Food Tour, and it was everything I hoped for! The cannoli were to die for, and the meatballs were the best I've ever had. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the area, too. If you're thinking about it as a gift, definitely go for it! My friends and I had a blast!
