Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the North Georgia hiking experience?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but I'd say it’s best for kids 8 and up, depending on their hiking ability. Some trails can get steep or challenging, especially Brasstown Bald. They should be able to keep up and enjoy it! Just double-check with the company if you’re bringing younger kids.

Q: What should I wear for the hikes? Any tips?

A: Comfort is key! Wear breathable layers since it can get hot, and pack a light rain jacket too just in case. Sturdy hiking shoes are a must—trust me, you don’t want to slip on rocky trails. Bring a hat and sunscreen as well; you'll be out in the sun for a bit.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on our hiking day?

A: They usually reschedule if the weather's too harsh, like thunderstorms or heavy rain. When you book, it’s good to check their cancellation policy. It’s pretty flexible, so you won’t lose your payment if you have to change your plans. Just keep an eye on the weather forecast!

Anyone tried the Brasstown Bald hike with Hike On?

I’m thinking about getting the North Georgia Hiking experience for my husband’s birthday! The Brasstown Bald hike sounds amazing; it's the highest peak in Georgia, right? I just hope it’s not too strenuous for him. I love that they include a restaurant afterward. What do you guys think?

Looking for a unique gift? Consider North Georgia Hiking!

I just gifted this hiking experience to my sister for her graduation. She’s an outdoor fanatic! We’re going to Red Top Mountain next week. I’m so excited to try Luna Maya afterward; I've heard great things about their food. Has anyone else been? Any must-tries on the menu?
