Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for the North Pole Express! It’s designed to be family-friendly, so kids of all ages are welcome. Just keep in mind that younger ones might need supervision. I saw a lot of families with toddlers and older kids, and they all seemed to have a blast! Just make sure you bring some blankets, it can get a bit chilly on the bus.
A: Definitely dress for the weather! It can get pretty cold at night in Grapevine, so layer up. A warm coat, hats, and gloves are a must, especially if you're sitting on the open-air top deck. I recommend wearing comfy shoes since you might be moving around a bit. You can also wear holiday-themed attire to get into the spirit!
A: Getting to the North Pole Express is pretty straightforward! You can park at the Grapevine Convention Center, which has ample parking space, but it does fill up fast during the holidays. If you can, arrive early. The tour starts from there, and I recommend being there at least 30 minutes before departure to grab hot cocoa and get settled. Also, carpooling is a great idea to avoid the hassle!

Just went on the North Pole Express and WOW!
We just did the North Pole Express tour in Grapevine last weekend and it was magical! The lights are absolutely stunning, especially the decorations around Highland Park. The hot chocolate and cookies were delicious too. Our kids loved singing along to the Christmas classics with Santa and the elf on board. Totally worth it for the holiday spirit! Can’t wait to do it again next year!
Considering the North Pole Express as a gift for my family!
I’m thinking about gifting the North Pole Express tour to my family for Christmas this year. It sounds so festive, and the kids would love the whole Santa experience! But I’m just worried about the weather. What if it rains? Do you think they cancel in that case? Anyone have tips?
