Aloha we started off the day with a history lesson as we drive across the island to the North Shore where our day starts at the old Sugar Mill for a guided tour of our magnificent coffees and chocolates of Hawaii followed by one of the most unique souvenir shops on the island afterwards, we will take a short 7 mile drive to the sacred Valley of Waimea, where we will track 3/4 of a mile in through the sacred valley and rainforest, visiting at a Hawaiian village And ending up at a 45 foot waterfall with 110 foot pool at the base to go swimming (lifeguard‘s present) afterwards, we will trek back out and head into the beautiful town of Haleiwa for lunch where we will stop at the famous shrimp trucks of the North Shore. There are other foods available. Just let Your Guide know if shrimp isn’t your thing after lunch, we will travel 1 mile up through Haleiwa to puena a sacred Turtle feeding area to spend the end of the day Looking and searching and hopefully swimming with turtles

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There's no official age limit, but I'd say it's great for kids ages 5 and up. The hike is about 3/4 of a mile, which is manageable for most little ones. Just keep an eye on them near the waterfall since it can get slippery. Bring some snacks and a camera – it's super picturesque!

Q: What if the weather's bad? Do they cancel the tour or offer rescheduling?

A: They monitor the weather closely. If there's a risk of bad conditions, they usually reach out to reschedule for a later date. It’s not completely guaranteed to be canceled, but they prioritize safety! Just be sure to check your email for updates before the tour.

Q: What's the average price range for lunch at the shrimp trucks? Are there other food options?

A: Lunch at the famous shrimp trucks usually runs between $15-$25 a plate, depending on what you get. There's also some local plate lunch places nearby if shrimp isn't your thing – just let your guide know! You won't go hungry, that's for sure.

Considering the North Shore Waterfalls and Turtles Tour for a birthday gift!

I’m thinking about getting this tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves adventure and turtles! The guided tour seems like a fun way to explore while learning about the culture. Plus, a waterfall swim?! Sounds amazing! Anyone been on this? How was the turtle feeding area?

Just did the waterfall and turtle tour - what an experience!

I just got back from the North Shore tour and wow, it was phenomenal! The hike to the waterfall was stunning, and jumping in was the highlight of my trip! The turtles were everywhere at the feeding area. Just a heads up, bring water shoes for the hike – it helps a lot. Definitely worth it!
