Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for participants on this fishing tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 5 years old to join. They’ll definitely need adult supervision. It’s a great family-friendly activity! Just make sure they can handle a fishing pole and follow instructions.

Q: What do I need to wear for the fishing tour?

A: Definitely wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting wet or sandy! A hat and sunscreen is a must since you'll be out in the sun. Flip flops are fine but I recommend water shoes if you have them, just for better grip on the rocks.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

A: If there’s bad weather, they usually reschedule the tour for a later date. They keep safety as a priority, so if it’s too windy or rainy, they’ll contact you to make new arrangements. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Thinking about gifting the North Shore Shoreline Fishing experience!

I’m planning on surprising my dad with this fishing tour in Waialua. He’s always wanted to fish in Hawaii, and I think this would be perfect! It’s $0, which is wild. Has anyone done it? Were the guides helpful? What should I expect?

Anyone else nervous about going fishing for the first time?

I'm considering this North Shore fishing experience for my boyfriend's birthday, but I’ve never fished before. What if I can’t catch anything? Is it hard? What’s the vibe like?
