We are an Austin, TX-based global custom event design company offering scavenger hunts and other events in 300+ cities in North America and beyond. Our specially hand-crafted adventures are equal parts tour, creative challenge, detective hunt, and social experiment! Guests get to discover in an alternate reality our favorite hidden gems off the beaten trail and creatively interpret fun art, history, and culture clues - for points! They get to enjoy fame and glory while appearing on our website’s international leaderboard, no matter what their score. They get to essentially race other teams in other cities, even if they don’t have competitors who have signed up in their city that day. Q: Can this scavenger hunt be done with kids? What age would you recommend?

A: Absolutely! The Not So Ordinary Oceanside Scavenger Hunt is great for families. I'd say kids aged 8 and up would really enjoy it, especially with the interactive elements. Just keep in mind, some of the clues might require a bit of reading or creative thinking, so having older kids or adults to help them out can make it even more fun!

Just did the Oceanside Scavenger Hunt! So much fun!

I recently treated my partner to the Not So Ordinary Oceanside Scavenger Hunt in Carlsbad and we had a blast! It took us about 3 hours, and our guide was super helpful the whole time. We discovered some hidden gems I never would've found on my own. The leaderboard thing added a competitive twist too! Can't recommend it enough if you're looking for a unique date idea or gift!
