TUESDAY TO SATURDAY TOURS meet at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 153 Sullivan St. , SoHo, Manhattan SUNDAY TOURS meet at FAICCOS 260 Bleecker St., Greenwich Village Manhattan This is a fun-filled interactive walking tour of Greenwich Village's Italian neighborhood. Sour samples include: a Brazilian Brigadeiro sweet, Rafetto's ravioli and Italian Rice pudding, Il Corallo lemon pound cake, Ben's Grandma pizza, Faicco's rice balls (arancini) and meatball slider, finishing with a fruit-a-misu at Rocco's Pastry. This 2+hour tour is led by local, licensed NYC tour guide, Greg Marro, with Italian family roots in the neighborhood since 1884. He gives you an insider's perspective into local history with music, serenades and family tales. Samples and sights subject to change. The tasty samples are bites, not a meal. Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this food tour, like is it good for kids?

A: The tour is family-friendly, and kids are definitely welcome! Just keep in mind that some of the food samples might be more adult-oriented, but they do have kid-friendly options too, like pizza and sweets. Plus, Greg, the guide, is great with kids and often shares fun stories that they enjoy.

Q: What happens if it rains? Do they cancel the tour?

A: If it rains, they typically still run the tour unless the weather is really severe. Greg is a pro at adapting, and having a little drizzle can actually be a pretty cozy experience! If they do cancel, you’ll get a full refund or can reschedule for another date.

Q: How many food samples do you get on the tour? Is it enough for a meal?

A: You get several samples, but they’re more like bites rather than full servings. It’s a great way to taste a bunch of different foods, but you shouldn't expect to fill up completely. You’ll get a nice mix of sweets and savory items, which is awesome for a light lunch or afternoon snack!

Just booked the NYC Italian Food Walking Tour! Any tips?

I just got tickets for the Greenwich Village food tour with Greg next week! I’m so excited! I heard he’s super knowledgeable and the food samples sound amazing. I’m a bit nervous about walking for 2+ hours, though. Any tips on what to wear or bring?

Has anyone done the Greenwich Village food tour? Worth it?

I’m thinking about getting this tour as a gift for my parents who love Italian food. Has anyone done it? Is it really as good as it sounds? They’ll love trying different spots, but I want to make sure it’s worth the money.
