Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this food tour? Can kids join?

A: No specific age limit! Kids are totally welcome on this tour. They usually enjoy the food tastings, but you might want to check if they can handle the 3-hour walking part. Just keep in mind that some of the places we visit might not have kid-friendly options, so maybe pack a snack just in case.

Q: What should I wear for the Lower East Side tour?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since you'll be walking a lot. The tour is relaxed, but some parts can get a bit crowded, so dress in layers—NYC weather can be unpredictable! Also, check the forecast; if it rains, plan for a waterproof jacket. No need to go fancy, just stay comfy!

Q: What if it rains? Can we reschedule the tour?

A: They do allow rescheduling if the weather is bad. Just make sure to reach out to Nice Guy Tours a day in advance if you can. They’re pretty flexible and will help you find a new date that works best. Just keep an eye on the forecast before you go, so you can plan accordingly!

Just did the NYC Lower East Side Food Tour!

I went on the Lower East Side walking and food tour last weekend and it was awesome! Our guide was super knowledgeable about the history of the area and all the spots we visited. We hit 6 tasting places, and let me tell you, the food was incredible! Had some amazing bagels and knishes. Just a heads up, wear comfy shoes since we walked for about 3 hours. Totally worth it for the experience!

Looking to gift the Lower East Side Food Tour!

I wanna get this food tour for my foodie friend’s birthday! It sounds perfect, especially with the different cultural spots they visit. Just wondering if anyone has gift-wrapped their experience or if it comes as a digital gift? Also, how's the food on the tour? Any recommendations for a vegetarian?
