Q&A
A: Yes, if the weather isn't cooperating, you can absolutely reschedule. Just reach out to Custom NYC Tours at least 24 hours in advance, and they’ll help you find a new time that works for you. I did this last month when it was pouring and they were super accommodating!
A: Yes, this tour can definitely be enjoyable for older kids and teenagers. There isn't a strict age limit, but it's best suited for those who can walk for a couple of hours and appreciate architecture. If you've got a 12+ year-old, they'll likely get a lot out of it!
A: The best way is definitely the subway! You can take the 4, 5, 6, N, Q, R, or W trains to Grand Central, and it's just a short walk from there. If you're driving, check for parking garages nearby, but the subway is way easier.

Just did the NYC Modern Architecture Tour and it was amazing!
I took the NYC Modern Architecture Private Walking Tour last weekend and wow, I was blown away! Our guide was super knowledgeable about the buildings on Park Avenue, especially the ones by Mies van der Rohe and Philip Johnson. It was cool to learn about the engineering behind these architectural wonders. I went with my architecture-loving partner as a surprise gift, and we both had a fabulous time. Highly recommend it if you’re exploring gift ideas for design enthusiasts!
Thinking about gifting this architecture tour - any advice?
I'm considering getting this Modern Architecture Tour for my dad's birthday. He’s a huge fan of architecture and always talks about the buildings in NYC. I’m curious if anyone has done this tour and if it feels personal enough. Also, how long is the tour usually?
