Q&A
A: You definitely want to wear something you don't mind getting a bit wet! They provide rain ponchos, but I’d recommend quick-dry clothing and shoes you don’t mind getting soaked. Also, consider a waterproof bag for your phone or camera if you want to take pics. It can get pretty chilly near the falls, so layering is a good idea too!
A: There’s no strict age limit, but I’d say the experience is best for kids ages 5 and up since they can really appreciate the falls and enjoy the boat ride. Just make sure they’re comfortable with crowds and the water as the Maid of the Mist can be a bit thrilling!
A: If you're driving, I would recommend looking for a parking garage near your pick-up location. Some places offer discounts for longer stays, but it can be pricey. Just plan ahead because street parking is tough in NYC! Also, check if your hotel has parking options.

Thinking of gifting the Niagara Falls day trip! Any tips?
I’m considering this experience for my parents' anniversary. They love traveling but have never been to Niagara Falls. The idea of doing the Maid of the Mist boat ride sounds awesome! What was it like? Also, how's the timing for the trip? Are they back in NYC by evening?
Just did the Niagara Falls day trip and it was unforgettable!
I went last week and I can't recommend it enough! The guide was super knowledgeable and we got to skip the lines at the observation tower. The Maid of the Mist ride was the highlight—so close to the falls! Bring a good camera, you'll want to capture everything! Just a heads up, it can get busy, so book ahead.
