Oahu Grand Circle Island Experience Departing from Kauai

Our tour reveals many of Oahu’s most beautiful sites and secret locations as we circle the island. We head to the legendary North Shore, home to the planet’s most epic surfing beaches where world champions compete every November and December at Waimea Bay and Sunset Beach. The tour passes through charming Haleiwa Town, with its many galleries, shops, and cafes. Enroute, we stop at famous Dole Plantation where you can learn all about Hawaii’s legendary pineapple crop. Our breathtaking voyage continues as we take in the valleys and cliffs of the emerald green Koolau Mountains and the rocky shoreline of South Oahu. You’ll be amazed by the incredible panoramic views from Nuuanu Pali Lookout, Makapuu Point, and Hanauma Bay.

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? Can kids join?

A: Yes, kids can definitely join! Aloha Sunshine Tours is usually very family-friendly. Just keep in mind that the snorkeling part might be better for older kids who can swim comfortably. Under 4 years old might be a little challenging for the tour duration, but we saw families with kids around 5-10 having a blast. Bring snacks and maybe a little beach gear for them!

Q: What should we wear for the tour? Any recommendations?

A: Definitely go for comfortable clothes! I wore a light tank top and shorts, and it was perfect. Bring a swimsuit for snorkeling and a light jacket since it can get breezy up at the Pali Lookout. Don't forget sunscreen! You’ll be exposed to the sun quite a bit, especially at Hanauma Bay.

Q: How does the snorkeling part work? Do we get provided gear?

A: Yes, they provide all the snorkeling gear! You just need to show up with your swimsuit and a towel. The snorkeling spot at Hanauma Bay is amazing—lots of colorful fish. Just make sure to get there early to avoid the crowds if you can! They do a quick safety briefing too, so you’ll know what to do.
