Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the turtle swimming part of the tour?

A: There’s no official age limit for swimming with the turtles, but kids under 12 should definitely have an adult with them. The water can be a bit choppy, so it’s good to keep an eye on younger swimmers. Most families have a blast, so it’s a great experience for all ages!

Q: What should I wear for the tour? Is it a lot of walking involved?

A: You’ll want to wear swimwear under your clothes since you’ll be stopping for the turtle swim. Lightweight, breathable clothing is best for the heat, plus comfy sandals or water shoes. There’s some walking but nothing too intense, just casual strolls at the scenic spots.

Q: How does the weather affect the tour? What if it rains?

A: The tour runs rain or shine! If there are heavy storms, they’ll usually reschedule, but light rain won’t stop the fun. Just check the weather before you go, and bring a light jacket. The turtles don’t mind a little drizzle!

Just booked the Oahu Guided Circle Island Tour!

I just booked this tour for my fiancé's birthday next month, and I’m super excited! Swimming with turtles sounds amazing, plus I can’t wait to try those local shrimp stands! Has anyone been recently? Any tips or must-try dishes from the stops?

Thinking about getting this for my parents!

My parents are visiting Oahu soon, and I think this guided tour would be perfect for them. They’ve never snorkeled before, so I’m curious if it’s beginner-friendly? Any insights would help!
