Q&A

Q: What's the difficulty level of the Kuliouou hike? Is it suitable for beginners?

A: The Kuliouou hike is moderate in difficulty. It’s about 2 miles long with some steep sections, but beginners can definitely tackle it with some basic fitness. Just make sure to wear good shoes and bring water. Orion provides a great overview before you start!

Q: Are there any age restrictions for this hike? Can kids join?

A: Kids can definitely join on the Kuliouou hike! Just keep in mind the hike can be a bit challenging for younger ones, so it's best for kids over 10 or so. Also, be ready to take breaks and enjoy the scenery together.

Q: What should we wear for this hike? Any specific gear recommended?

A: Wear comfortable, moisture-wicking clothes and good hiking shoes. A light jacket is good in case it gets windy at the top. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat, especially if you’re going during the day!

Just did the Kuliouou hike with Orion and it was amazing!

Wow, I can't believe how gorgeous the views were! Orion is such a pro and really knows the best spots for photos. We got some killer shots at the top that I can't wait to share. The hike itself was a bit tough in parts, but honestly, it was so worth it. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to get out in Oahu and snap some Instagram-worthy pics!

Considering this experience as a gift for my dad!

My dad loves hiking but hasn’t done much around Oahu. I think he’d love the Kuliouou hike, especially with the photography included! I’m a bit worried about the logistics though. What’s parking like there? Is it usually crowded?
