For the thrill-seekers! We will travel three miles off of the North Shore of Oahu to find Hawaiiʼs famous Manō (shark). Surrounded by clear blue abyss, guests will have the opportunity to swim alongside this pelagic predator, with the guidance of a Professionally trained Shark Handler. The crew will provide guests with information on shark biology and behavior, as well as safety guidelines for snorkeling and free diving. The most common resident shark species include Galapagos, Sandbar, and Tiger sharks. However, being in a pelagic (deep-water) zone allows the possibility. A Professional Underwater Photographer will be available to capture your unique experiences in High Quality photos and videos for an additional fee. This is a bucket list item and having this memory documented will always be a great to look back on. Digital files will be sent to you a few days after your tour date. We hope to see you out on the water soon!

Q&A

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the dive? Can we reschedule?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather isn't safe for the dive. They’ll give you options to pick a new date, so keep an eye on the forecast. Just make sure to contact them as soon as you can!

Q: Is there an age or weight limit for this shark dive experience?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. As for weight, they typically ask that participants be in a reasonable fitness level to swim. Best to check with them if you have specific concerns!

Q: What should we wear for the dive? Any special gear needed?

A: You’ll want to wear a swimsuit and bring a towel. They provide wetsuit tops and snorkeling gear, so just swimwear is all you need! Also, some water shoes might help for getting on and off the boat.

Just booked the Oahu Shark Dive! Any tips?

I finally booked the Oahu Shark Dive with Go Adventure Hawaii, and I’m freaking out in a good way! It’s off the North Shore, and we’ll be swimming with the Galapagos and Tiger sharks—can’t believe it! For anyone who's done it, what was your experience like? Any tips on what to bring or how to prep?

Has anyone done the shark dive? Need feedback before gifting it!

I’m thinking of getting the shark dive experience for my boyfriend’s birthday. He’s super into marine life, and this sounds perfect! But honestly, I’m a little nervous about how intense it is. What’s the vibe like? Anyone want to share their thoughts?
