Q&A
A: Yes, this tour is suitable for kids! There's no specific age limit, but I’d recommend it for ages 5 and up since there's quite a bit of walking at Oak Alley. Just keep in mind, younger kids might not have the patience for the historical commentary. Also, the tour is mainly on a minibus, so it’s pretty comfortable for families!
A: Comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be walking around Oak Alley quite a bit! The grounds are beautiful but can be uneven in spots. I’d suggest wearing layers because it can get hot during the day but cooler in the evening. A hat and sunscreen are also good to have since there’s not a ton of shade on the plantation.
A: Yes, you can reschedule! If there's severe weather, they usually contact you about options. Just make sure to give them a call at least 24 hours in advance if you think weather will be an issue. They’re pretty flexible about rescheduling since they want you to have a great experience!

Thinking of Booking the Oak Alley and New Orleans Tour!
Hey everyone! I’m considering this tour as a gift for my parents. They love history and I think the plantation part would be super interesting for them. Has anyone done this? How’s the tour guide? And is there enough time to explore Oak Alley? Thanks in advance!
Just Did the Oak Alley Tour - What an Experience!
Wow, just got back from the Oak Alley Tour and it was incredible! The plantation is stunning, especially those big oak trees. The tour through New Orleans was nice too, especially seeing the Garden District. But man, the history they shared about Hurricane Katrina hit hard. Definitely recommend it!
