Q&A
A: Yes, you can usually reschedule as long as you give at least 48 hours' notice. Just reach out to the provider directly and they'll help you find another date that works. It’s pretty flexible, which is nice!
A: There’s no strict age limit for the airboat part, but kids usually need to be at least 5 years old to ride safely. It’s pretty thrilling, so I’d make sure the kids are comfortable with fast rides. Also, it helps if they can understand the safety rules!
A: Dress casual and be prepared for some mud! I'd recommend wearing old sneakers or waterproof shoes. Also, don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen since you’ll be out in the sun a lot. It can get hot in Louisiana, so light clothing is best.

Just did the airboat tour after visiting Oak Alley Plantation!
So I just got back from the Oak Alley Plantation and airboat tour in New Orleans and it was absolutely fantastic! The plantation house was stunning and the big oak trees are something else. The airboat ride was a blast—we saw a bunch of alligators and it was wild! The guide was really knowledgeable too. Totally recommend this for anyone looking for a fun day out. Just be ready for some speed on that airboat!
Considering this as a gift, any tips?
I'm thinking about gifting the Oak Alley Plantation and airboat tour to my parents for their anniversary. They love history and being outdoors, but I'm worried about the heat. Is it too much for an older couple? Also, how's the food at the plantation restaurant? Any recommendations?
