Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the Oasis Tour in Tucson?

A: There’s no strict age limit for the Oasis Tour, but younger kids might get a bit restless during the drive. That being said, families have brought children as young as 5, and they provided a fun experience overall! Just keep in mind that the tour involves some mountain driving, so if your child gets motion sickness, maybe bring some ginger ale or snacks.

Q: What should I wear for the Oasis Tour? Any tips?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since you might get out to explore some spots. I recommend light layers because it can get cool in the van and then warmer outside. Sunscreen and hats are also a good idea to protect from the sun while you're out there. Super fun experience overall!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule our tour?

A: Yes, if the weather is unsafe or if it's too extreme, you can reschedule your tour with the Tucson Mountain Shuttle. They’re pretty flexible and will work with you to find another time. Just make sure to check their policy when you book, as things can change depending on the season.

Just did the Oasis Tour in Tucson and it was awesome!

I recently gifted the Oasis Tour to my parents for their anniversary, and they loved it! The air-conditioned van was so comfortable for the drive up the mountain. They got to use binoculars too and spotted so many cool birds! The audio tour was really informative. I’m thinking of doing it myself next time. Highly recommend this as a gift if you want to treat someone special!

Thinking of the Oasis Tour but unsure...

I’m looking for a gift for my friend who loves nature and hiking, but she’s not a big fan of extreme activities. Would this tour be good for her? I read it’s pretty laid back, but what’s the difficulty level like? Any tips would be great!
