Q&A
A: There are no specific age restrictions for the tour, so it's suitable for all ages! The tour is designed to be family-friendly, which is great if you're thinking of gifting it to someone with kids. Just keep in mind that younger children might get tired, as there’s some walking involved in Oatman and Sitgreaves Pass.
A: Parking at the Powerhouse Visitors Center is pretty straightforward with ample space available. Just keep in mind that it can get busy on weekends, especially in the summer. If you’re going during peak times, arriving early could save you some hassle.
A: Wear comfy shoes and light clothing! It can definitely get hot during the day, especially in the summer, so breathable fabrics are best. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen because you'll be outside a lot, especially in Oatman. Bringing a light jacket might help too, as it can cool down in the evening!

Thinking about gifting the Oatman Mining Camp tour! Anyone done it?
I’m considering this as a gift for my parents who love history and old cars. The Powerhouse Visitors Center sounds awesome, especially with the vintage cars and the Electric Vehicle Museum! I’m a bit worried about the walking involved in Oatman, though. Is it easy to navigate? Also, what are the chances of meeting those wild burros?
Just got back from the Oatman tour – absolutely loved it!
We went last weekend, and it was such a cool experience! The views from Sitgreaves Pass are breathtaking. We spent quite a bit of time at Oatman, just enjoying the atmosphere and taking pics with the burros. Honestly, it’s a great day trip if you’re in Laughlin or Kingman. Highly recommend it!
