Q&A
A: It really depends on your kids! If they enjoy exploring and listening to stories about history and art, they might find it fun. The walking isn’t too strenuous, and there are some visually interesting areas. However, if they prefer more interactive experiences, it might not hold their attention.
A: The tour's duration varies depending on how much you stop to explore. It can take around 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Since it's self-guided, you can pause the audio whenever you want to soak in the views or grab a drink at Pine Inn!
A: Definitely! The charm of Carmel is still there during the off-season. Just be prepared for cooler weather and possibly some fog. Dress in layers, and check the forecast. If it’s rainy, you might want to reschedule, but otherwise, it can be quite cozy!

Hey everyone! I'm considering gifting the self-guided tour in Carmel. I noticed it includes some interesting spots like the Pine Inn and the First Murphy House. How's the audio quality? I'm hoping it’ll be engaging enough. Also, is the app user-friendly? I want to make sure my gift isn't too complicated to use!
Anyone else love the Carmel self-guided walking tour?
I just finished the Off the Beaten Path tour in Carmel, and wow! The hidden gems and stories about the artists were delightful. The Jane Powers Walkway was beautiful. Spent a good hour just soaking it all in! Perfect for a nice day out, but also nice to do whenever. Anyone else tried it? What was your favorite part?
