Q&A
A: Absolutely! The scavenger hunt is designed for everyone, even if you're new to Sacramento. The clues and challenges guide you through key landmarks like the Tower Bridge and Pioneer Square, so you won't miss out on anything essential. Plus, it's a fun way to uncover some hidden gems! Just make sure to wear comfy shoes since you'll be walking about a mile.
A: There's no strict minimum age since it's designed for all ages! However, I'd suggest it’s best suited for kids ages 8 and up, as they can enjoy solving the puzzles. Younger kids might find it challenging. Just keep in mind that you'll be walking about a mile, so a stroller might be handy for the little ones.
A: Good question! Since the scavenger hunt is played on your smartphone and there's no guide waiting for you, you can totally play whenever you want—even if it rains. If you prefer to wait for nicer weather, there's flexibility to reschedule your adventure. Just check the weather beforehand and plan accordingly!

Thinking of gifting the Old Sacramento Scavenger Hunt — any thoughts?
Hey everyone! I'm considering getting this scavenger hunt for my friend’s birthday. They love exploring and trying out new things. I like that it’s flexible, so they can play whenever. I’m just a bit worried if it's challenging enough for adults? Any tips or insights would be awesome!
Just did the scavenger hunt – what a fun time!
I just finished the Old Sacramento scavenger hunt with my family, and it was such a good time! The clues took us to places we’d never seen before, like the Pony Express Memorial. I seriously recommend wearing comfy shoes since we did a lot of walking. The interactive part was super engaging, and we all loved the competition to get the highest score on the leaderboard!
