Q&A

Q: Can I reschedule the paddle tour if it rains?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather isn't great! Sunrise Paddleboards is pretty flexible with that. Just make sure to call them ahead of time to choose a new date. They usually recommend checking the weather a day before to be safe.

Q: What do I wear for the paddle tour? Is it strenuous?

A: Wear something comfortable that can get wet! Swimsuits or quick-dry clothes are great. As for difficulty, it’s pretty manageable even for beginners. Just take it slow and enjoy the scenery!

Q: Is this tour suitable for kids? What age do they recommend?

A: Yes, kids can definitely join this tour! It’s family-friendly, but they recommend kids be at least 8 years old to comfortably handle a kayak or paddleboard. Just make sure they can swim!

Just did the One Way Ticket To Paradise paddle tour and it was amazing!

I went on the paddle tour from Sunrise Paddleboards to Bonnet House last weekend and WOW. The scenery was stunning! We paddled through the tropical canals and ended up at the gardens, which were so peaceful. It was about a 2-hour paddle for us with lots of breaks to take pictures. I definitely recommend it for a fun day out. Has anyone else done this? What was your favorite part?

Thinking of gifting the paddle tour experience, any advice?

I'm considering this paddle tour as a gift for my friend’s birthday. She loves nature and kayaking but has never done anything like this before! Is there anything I should know before I buy it? What’s the best way to prepare for the day?
