Q&A

Q: How easy is it to reschedule if the weather gets bad?

A: You can reschedule if the weather gets bad, but it's best to contact Shaka Tours Maui directly. They understand that the weather can be unpredictable on the Road to Hāna and are usually pretty accommodating. Just make sure to give them a call at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any issues. Also, they provide ponchos, so you’ll still have a great time if it drizzles a bit!

Q: Is this tour suitable for very young kids?

A: Yes, this tour is designed to be family-friendly! Kids of all ages can join. The open-air safari van makes it comfortable for everyone, and the frequent stops give them a chance to explore and stretch their legs. Just be sure to bring snacks and maybe a little entertainment for the drive.

Q: What should we wear for this tour? Any tips?

A: Dress comfortably! Lightweight clothes are best since it can get warm, but also pack a light jacket or sweater for the cooler rainforest areas. Sturdy shoes are a must, especially if you want to explore by the waterfalls. And don't forget your sunscreen and a hat! You'll want to be ready for anything.

Just did the Road to Hāna tour, and wow!

I went on the Open-Air Jungle Adventure Tour last week, and it was amazing! The views were out of this world, especially at Wailua Valley Lookout. Our guide was super knowledgeable and really made the experience fun! We got to try the famous banana bread from a roadside stand, and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves nature and adventure.

Looking for advice on gifting this experience!

I’m thinking of getting the Open-Air Jungle Adventure Tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love Maui, and this tour seems perfect for them! Can anyone share their experiences or tips? How was the food and stops along the way? Any must-see spots?
