Q&A

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up and we can't make it?

A: Yes, you can reschedule your axe throwing session with American Axes. Just make sure to give them at least 24 hours' notice. They’re pretty flexible, which is great if something unexpected happens. If you booked it as a gift, just check in with the recipient to ensure they can still make the new date!

Q: Is there an age limit for this experience? Can kids participate?

A: The minimum age for axe throwing at American Axes is 12 years old, but kids under 18 need to be with an adult. It's a fun activity for families, as long as everyone follows the safety rules! Just make sure to check if there are any specific age requirements on the day you plan to go.

Q: What should we wear? Is it safe for accessories like earrings?

A: Make sure to wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing that lets you move freely. It’s best to leave accessories like long earrings or necklaces at home, just to be safe. You want to focus on throwing those axes without any distractions!

Just did the axe throwing at American Axes – so much fun!

I went axe throwing with some friends at American Axes in Atlanta last weekend, and wow, what a blast! The coaches were super helpful, and they made it easy for us beginners to get into it. We even tried the Axe Arcade, which added a cool twist to the classic throwing. Definitely recommend bringing snacks! The craft beer next door from Schoolhouse Brewing really hit the spot after our throws. Can't wait to go back!

Thinking of gifting axe throwing – any thoughts?

My friend’s birthday is coming up, and I’m considering the axe throwing experience at American Axes in Atlanta. I’ve never been, but I hear great things! It seems like a unique way to celebrate, plus with the beer options next door, it sounds like a win. Anyone else done this as a gift? How was the experience?
