Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the shark dive experience? I want to get this for my younger sibling.

A: Yes, there is an age requirement for the Open Water Shark Dive. Participants must be at least 10 years old to join the tour. It's a great experience for older kids and teens who are adventurous! Just make sure they can handle snorkeling gear comfortably.

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the dive? Can we reschedule easily?

A: Hawaii Adventure Diving is pretty flexible with rescheduling due to weather conditions. If they determine that it's not safe to go out, they'll usually contact you to offer alternative dates. Just try to book early to have more options!

Q: What should we wear for the shark dive? Is there anything special we need?

A: When going on the shark dive, wear a swimsuit and beach cover-up. They provide snorkeling gear, but it’s always good to bring a towel and maybe a waterproof camera if you're into photography. Sunscreen is a must but be sure to use reef-safe products!

Just booked the shark dive in Oahu, so excited!

I finally pulled the trigger and booked the Open Water Shark Dive with Hawaii Adventure Diving for next month! I can't believe I'm going to be snorkeling with sharks! The small group size should make it even cooler. Anyone have tips on what to expect or stories to share?

Has anyone done the shark dive yet? Need some tips!

I’m considering gifting the Open Water Shark Dive experience for my boyfriend’s birthday, but I want to hear from people who have actually done it. Is it worth it? How was the experience? Any must-dos or must-brings?
