Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this wine tour? Can I bring my 16-year-old with me?

A: Unfortunately, the tour is for guests 21 and older since it involves wine tasting at each vineyard. However, there may be some scenic options for younger guests who don’t drink! It’s best to check directly with Willamette Valley Tour for any family-friendly options.

Q: How much walking is involved? My partner has some mobility issues.

A: The walking is pretty minimal on the Oregon Wine Tour. Most vineyards are accessible, and the vans are comfortable and spacious! Just let the guide know about any mobility concerns, and they'll accommodate you as best as possible. Bring comfortable shoes just in case!

Q: What if the weather's bad? Do they cancel tours?

A: The tours typically go on rain or shine, but if there’s severe weather, they might reschedule. It’s wise to check the forecast ahead of your booking date! They do have indoor tasting options at some wineries if it rains.

Thinking about gifting the Oregon Wine Tour to my parents!

I’m considering getting this Oregon Wine Tour as a gift for my parents’ anniversary. They love Pinot Noir and I think they’d really enjoy the guided tastings. Has anyone done this specific tour? How was the lunch stop? Also, do you think they'd be able to handle the whole day? They’re not super fond of wine but love beautiful landscapes and good food.

Just got back from the Oregon Wine Tour!

OMG! This tour was AMAZING! The guide was super knowledgeable and made the whole experience more enjoyable. We visited three different vineyards, and each had its unique vibe. The food pairing at the lunch stop was a delicious touch. I highly recommend it! Perfect weekend getaway from Portland.
