Q&A
A: Yes, there is a weight limit for the kayaks, which is usually around 250-300 lbs per person, depending on the kayak type. It's best to call Adventures in Florida directly to confirm the specifics. They’re super helpful and can guide you on what to expect for your trip.
A: You’ll want to wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting wet! Quick-drying clothes and water shoes are ideal. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and a hat, especially if it’s sunny. The guide might have some tips on the best gear when you arrive!
A: Yes, kids can definitely join the kayak tours! There’s no specific age limit mentioned, but I’d recommend checking with Adventures in Florida about any age recommendations. They usually have tandem kayaks if you want to paddle with younger kids. It’s a great family experience!

Thinking about gifting the Manatee Encounter in Daytona Beach!
Hey everyone! I'm considering giving my parents the manatee kayaking experience at Blue Spring State Park for their anniversary. I think they’d love seeing the manatees up close. Has anyone done this? What was it like? How’s the experience overall?
Just did the Manatee Encounter - so cool!
I just got back from the manatee encounter with Adventures in Florida, and wow, it was amazing! We saw so many manatees just chilling in the water. The guide was awesome and taught us a lot about the local ecology. Definitely a bucket list thing to do in Daytona Beach!
