Q&A
A: There isn’t a strict age limit, but participants usually need to be at least 12 years old to join the climbing courses. Kids under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver. It’s a great experience for families!
A: You’ll want to wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows for movement—think leggings or shorts and a moisture-wicking top. If you have climbing shoes, bring those too, but rental shoes are usually available. Just be ready for some dirt, it can get a bit dusty!
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can definitely reschedule. The guides will reach out to you the day before if conditions look unsafe. Just keep an eye on your email for updates!

Thinking about buying the Outdoor Rock Climbing experience at Mt. Erie for my partner
I found this amazing rock climbing experience at Mt. Erie for beginners and intermediates. It’s about $0.00 (what a deal!) and includes a professional guide. I’ve never climbed before, and neither has my partner, so I’m a bit nervous. Has anyone done this? Would it be good for first-timers?
Just finished the rock climbing course at Mt. Erie, and it was epic!
I went with some friends last weekend, and I can't recommend this enough! The views from the top are stunning, and the instructors are really chill but knowledgeable. It's located in Anacortes, WA, which is gorgeous too. We tried a few easier routes and then pushed ourselves a bit more. So much fun!
