Our specially hand-crafted adventures include a tour, creative challenge, detective hunt, learning tool, and social experiment! Guests get to discover our favorite hidden gems off the beaten trail and creatively interpret fun art, history, and culture challenges for points! Regardless of their score, they enjoy fame and glory while appearing on our website’s international leaderboard. Q: What's the best way to prepare for the scavenger hunt? Any tips on what to wear?

A: Comfort is key! Dress for the weather in Ocracoke since you'll be outside a lot. I'd recommend wearing sneakers or comfortable shoes, and bring a water bottle. Also, a portable charger for your phone is a must since your live guide will be on there. Just be ready for a mix of walking and possibly some light climbing, depending on the challenges!

Q: Is this suitable for kids? What's the age limit?

A: Yes! The scavenger hunt is great for families and can be tailored to different age groups. Kids as young as 8 can participate, but it’s super engaging for all ages. Just make sure they can handle the phone part since your guide will be interacting through that. It’s a fun way to learn and explore together!

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up? What’s the cancellation policy?

A: Absolutely, Alley Kat Adventures is pretty flexible! You can reschedule if you give them a heads-up 24 hours in advance. Just send them a message, and they'll work with you to find a new time. No cancellation fees either, which is nice. Just keep in mind that if the weather's too bad, they might have to cancel for safety.

Hey everyone! I'm considering getting the Outrageous Ocracoke Scavenger Hunt as a gift for my family while we're visiting Outer Banks next month.
