We are an Austin, TX-based global custom event design company offering scavenger hunts and other events in 300+ cities in North America and beyond. Our specially hand-crafted adventures are equal parts tour, creative challenge, detective hunt, and social experiment! Guests get to discover in an alternate reality our favorite hidden gems off the beaten trail and creatively interpret fun art, history, and culture clues - for points! They get to enjoy fame and glory while appearing on our website’s international leaderboard, no matter what their score. They get to essentially race other teams in other cities, even if they don’t have competitors who have signed up in their city that day. A: There's no strict age limit! It's designed for all ages, but I'd recommend having older kids or adults if you want to get the most out of the clues and challenges. We had a mix of ages in our group, and everyone had a blast! Just make sure kids have a phone to participate.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the scavenger hunt?

A: Good question! The scavenger hunt can usually be done rain or shine since it's done on your phone. However, if there’s severe weather and you need to reschedule, Alley Kat Adventures is pretty flexible with that. Just reach out to them directly, and they’ll help you out!

Q: How much walking or physical activity is involved in the scavenger hunt?

A: It varies based on the clues and where they lead you, but I’d say it’s pretty moderate. You can expect to walk a few miles total, depending on how you tackle the hunt. Wear comfy shoes, and you’ll be good to go! Plus, you can take breaks in between if you need to.

Just did the scavenger hunt in Omaha - what a blast!

I just finished the Outstanding Omaha Scavenger Hunt, and wow, it was an amazing experience! The live host was super encouraging and made it feel like a mini competition. The clues were challenging but fun! We found some awesome little spots in the city I had never seen before. Highly recommend it!
