Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for the tour, but kids under 12 might find the snowshoeing or hiking a bit challenging. It’s a great adventure for teens and adults! Just check with the provider, Wandering Alaska, for any specific arrangements you might want, especially if you're bringing younger kids.
A: Definitely dress in layers! It gets super cold at night when you’re out chasing the Aurora. Think thermal underwear, a good insulated jacket, and waterproof boots. Plus, don’t forget a warm hat and gloves! You want to be comfy to enjoy the views.
A: Yes, the company is usually pretty flexible! If the weather doesn't cooperate, you can reschedule for another day, and they will do their best to accommodate you, especially for the Aurora chase part. Just keep an eye on the forecast and stay in touch with them.

Thinking of gifting the Denali Aurora Tour for my parents!
Hey everyone! I’m planning to surprise my parents with the Overnight Denali National Park plus Aurora Chase Tour from Fairbanks. They love nature and have always wanted to see the Northern Lights. Has anyone done this tour? I’m curious if it’s worth it, especially the overnight stay and the photography part. Any tips for making the experience special? Thanks!
Just got back from the Denali Aurora Chase!
OMG you guys, I just did the Overnight Denali National Park plus Aurora Chase last weekend, and it was epic! The lodge was right near the park, and the snowshoeing was so much fun. We saw the Aurora on the first night, and the guide helped me with my camera settings. Worth every penny! I can’t recommend this enough!
