Q&A
A: Great question! Kids of all ages can enjoy the Paddle Pass, but it’s best if they’re at least 5 so they can manage the non-motorized watercraft. If your 8-year-old is able to swim and follow safety guidelines, they’ll have a blast! Just make sure they’re comfortable on the water.
A: Switching between watercraft is super easy! You just let the staff know what you want to try next, and they’ll set you up. No reservations are needed for the different craft, but it’s good to check if there’s a wait. When it's busy, you might have to hang tight for a few.
A: If the weather is unsafe for water activities, they’ll usually contact you to reschedule. You can also reach out to them directly to check on any cancellations. Just make sure to keep an eye on the forecast before your visit, especially in the rainy season!

Thinking about the Paddle Pass at Wai Kai - any tips?
I'm considering getting the Paddle Pass for my partner's birthday since we’ll be in Oahu next month. I love that you can hop between different watercraft like kayaks and SUPs. Just wondering how busy it gets and if it's worth the price? I’ve heard the AquaBanas are cool too. Any must-try suggestions?
Just did the Paddle Pass - what a blast!
We just got back from using the Paddle Pass at Wai Kai, and it was amazing! I loved trying out the hydrobike; it’s so fun! My friend was a bit nervous on the SUP, but the staff helped her get comfortable. Highly recommend spending time on the AquaBana, it’s the perfect spot to chill and take a break!
