We make your first dive unforgettable with small groups, expert PADI instructors, and the best gear on the market - SCUBAPRO. We start you off in the pool to help build confidence and to shake the rust off. Then you will head to our air conditioned facility in downtown Key West. After a quick check-in process you’ll board our custom built dive boat, The Phoenix, conveniently docked across the street behind the Hyatt Centric Hotel. Safe, fun, eco-friendly, and outfitted with premium equipment, we can’t wait to get you back in the water!

Q: Is there an age limit for taking the PADI Refresher Course?

A: Yes, participants must be at least 10 years old to take the PADI Refresher Course. If they're under 18, a parent or guardian needs to sign a release form. Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water, as it can get a bit intense for younger kids.

Q: What should I wear for the PADI Refresher Course? Is it cold on the dive boat?

A: Wear a swimsuit and bring a light cover-up for the boat ride. The air conditioning can make it a bit chilly, so having something warm helps. They provide wetsuits if you need them, but most of us just wore our swimsuits.

Q: Can I reschedule the PADI Refresher Course if the weather's bad?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather isn’t cooperating. Southpoint Divers will contact you to arrange a new date. Just make sure to call them ahead of time if you have concerns, as safety is their top priority.
