Q&A
A: Yes! The Paina Waikiki Luau has a casual dress code, but it's best to wear something comfortable and festive. Aloha shirts or summer dresses are perfect. Just keep in mind that it can get a bit breezy at night by the beach, so maybe bring a light jacket. Flip-flops are totally acceptable too!
A: They generally go ahead as planned unless there's severe weather. The venue has a covered area, so light rain shouldn’t stop the show. If they do have to cancel, you'll be notified and can reschedule your tickets for another night. Definitely check the weather a few days in advance, though!
A: Absolutely! The luau is family-friendly and great for kids of all ages. They’ll love the music, dancing, and especially the lei-making activity! There’s no age limit, but younger kids might enjoy the buffet more than the show. Parents should just keep an eye on them during the fire knife dancing part.

Just booked the Paina Waikiki Luau for my anniversary!
So excited! I just bought tickets for the Paina Waikiki Luau for me and my husband. We’ve been wanting to experience a real Hawaiian luau, and this one looks amazing! I love that it includes a flower lei and the buffet with prime rib. Any tips for what to do before or after the luau?
Is the Paina Waikiki Luau worth it?
Thinking about getting tickets for the Paina Waikiki Luau as a gift for my parents. They love Hawaiian culture and I think they’d appreciate the music and dances. But is it truly as good as everyone says? Anyone who’s been care to share their experience?
