You'll have a blast hanging out for a morning- leisurely painting, sipping on bubbly, and checking out all the artist's studios. After the workshop, feel free to walk around the shop downstairs and check out other amazing retail and food spots in the neighborhood!

Q: Is this workshop suitable for beginners, or do you need some prior painting experience?

A: Absolutely, this workshop is perfect for beginners! Allison does a great job explaining techniques and guiding you through the process. You'll get to experiment with gouache paints, and even if you've never painted before, you'll have a blast. Just come with an open mind!

Q: What's the parking situation like around Dreamhouse Studios?

A: Parking can be a bit tricky in the Starland District. There are a few street parking spots, but they fill up fast on weekends. I'd recommend arriving a little early or checking out nearby lots. Just make sure to read the signs carefully since some spots are permit-only!

Q: Can you tell me more about the bubbly provided? Is it just sparkling water or actual wine?

A: They provide actual sparkling wine! It's a fun little touch that definitely adds to the experience. You can also BYOB if you have a favorite drink in mind, but I thought the provided bubbly was a nice way to sip while painting. Just sip responsibly and enjoy the creativity!

Just did the Paint with Gouache class and it was amazing!

I went to the Paint with Gouache class at Dreamhouse Studios last weekend, and I can't recommend it enough! Allison was super chill and helpful, and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxing while painting. Plus, sipping on bubbly while working on my masterpiece was such a blast! The Starland District is really cute, too; we checked out some shops afterward. Seriously a perfect way to spend a Saturday morning!

Hey everyone! I'm thinking about getting the Paint with Gouache class at Dreamhouse Studios for my sister's birthday. She loves artsy things but hasn’t painted in years. Do you think it would be a good fit for her? Also, how does the whole BYOB thing work? Any tips would be awesome!
