A: There's no strict age limit, but kids under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. It's a really fun activity for families, and the studio is super welcoming to all ages. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need a bit more help with the painting!

A: Definitely wear something you don't mind getting dirty! They provide smocks, but it's always good to have an old t-shirt or apron just in case. No need to bring anything; all materials are included!

Hey everyone! I'm considering this pottery class at MAS Mercado Art Studio as a gift for my sister's birthday. I read they provide all materials and it's pretty relaxed. Has anyone done this yet? I know she loves being creative but I'm unsure if it’s suitable for a beginner. Also, how long does it typically take to finish a piece?

Just got back from the Paint Your Own Pottery class in Fort Lauderdale!

Wow, what a fun experience! I went with my kids, and we had the best time at MAS Mercado Art Studio. The instructors were super chill and helped us with the techniques. I made a cute mug for my coffee, and my kids painted little animals. Just a heads up, the glaze firing takes a week, so plan ahead if you need it for a gift! But it’s so worth it!
