This tour is really unique that you get to hear some of the amazing, historical and groovy stories about San Francisco before spending your day tasting some delicious wines as we make our way through the beautiful Sonoma Valley in one of our Vintage VW buses! We will visit 3 award winning wineries. Each winery has been carefully selected for its unique character, knowledgeable and friendly staff, lovely ambiance and off course their delicious wines. You will also have the unique experience of touring a wine cave at one of the most scenic wineries in all of Sonoma/Napa. We will then make a stop at an Italian winery to enjoy lunch and have our second wine tasting. You will have the chance to taste artisan cheeses, Salami, fresh deli and green salads, pizza, including vegetarian and gluten free options, as well as wine by the glass! Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this wine country tour?

A: Yes, there's an age limit since this is a wine tasting tour. Participants must be at least 21 years old to taste the wines. However, kids can join if they're just along for the ride and not participating in tastings! Just make sure to double-check with the tour provider for any specific policies.

Q: What should I wear for the Painted Ladies Wine Tour?

A: Comfort is key! I'd recommend wearing layers since it can get chilly in the morning and warm up later. Also, comfortable shoes are a must because you'll be doing some vineyard walking. You might want a nice outfit for the winery visits, but don't overdo it—it's pretty casual! And don’t forget sunscreen!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather's not cooperating! The Painted Ladies Tour Company is pretty flexible and usually allows changes if you call ahead. Just make sure to check their policy on rescheduling when you book, as they may have certain timeframes.

Thinking about gifting the Painted Ladies Wine Tour!

I’m considering this tour for my parents’ anniversary! They love wine and history, plus the idea of cruising in a VW bus is too cool. I read about the lunch and tastings at the Italian winery, and it sounds perfect for them. Anyone done this yet? What do you think?
