Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the Palafox Palete Food Tour? Is it casual or more upscale?

A: Great question! The food tour is generally casual, so you can wear comfy clothes and shoes since you'll be doing some walking. Just make sure to check the weather and maybe bring a light jacket if it's chilly at night. You'll want to enjoy the food without worrying about being too dressed up.

Q: How far is the walking part? Is it manageable for seniors?

A: The walking distance is pretty manageable, totaling around 1 to 1.5 miles across several stops. It's mostly flat, so seniors should be fine, but it's always a good idea to check with them first to make sure they feel up for it. The guide makes plenty of stops, so there’s time to rest while tasting food!

Q: What happens if it rains? Do they cancel the food tour?

A: If it rains, they usually reschedule the tour rather than cancel. It's good to check their policy when you book, just to be safe. Sometimes they have rain dates available, so you won't miss out on the experience. Just be prepared for possible changes!

Thinking of gifting the Palafox Palete Food Tour!

Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting the Palafox Palete Food Tour to my foodie friend for her birthday. I love the idea of walking around Pensacola and trying local cuisines, especially since it mentions seafood and Asian Fusion! Has anyone done it recently? What was your favorite stop? I really want to make this a memorable experience for her.

Had a fantastic time on the Palafox Palete Food Tour!

Just got back from the Palafox Palete Food Tour, and wow! The guide was super knowledgeable about the history of Pensacola. We tried four different places, and each one was so unique. I loved the tapas spot the most. It’s perfect for anyone who loves food and history. Highly recommend it as a gift experience!
