Q&A
A: This cruise is strictly 21+, so unfortunately, your younger cousin won't be able to join. It's a party cruise focused on adult fun with an open bar and dancing, so they’ll need to wait a bit longer. You could consider taking them on a family-friendly boat tour instead!
A: Yes, they do cancel for severe weather. If it's just rain, they usually still go, but strong winds or storms mean they’ll reschedule. If you book, keep an eye on the forecast and check your email; they'll notify you about any changes.
A: You don’t have to dress up, but trust me, it’s way more fun if you do! Pirate hats, eye patches, or just some casual beachwear and a fun vibe works too. Just remember to be comfortable since you'll be dancing!

Just got back from the Pirate Ship cruise in D.C. - what a blast!
I went on the Party Cruise aboard the Boomerang Pirate Ship last weekend and wow, it was such a good time! The views of the D.C. skyline from the Potomac were unreal, especially at sunset. The open bar was fantastic too, with tons of cocktails. I went with a group of friends and we had a great time dancing on the upper deck. Totally recommend it for a fun night out! Just remember to check the weather beforehand!
Thinking about gifting the Pirate Ship cruise experience!
I'm considering buying this party cruise as a gift for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves boats and pirates, but I’m worried if it’s too rowdy since he's not a big drinker. Anyone have thoughts on how it is? Is it mostly just partying or can you enjoy the sights too?
