Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the Pearl Harbor tour?

A: There's no official age limit for the tour, but younger kids might find some parts overwhelming, especially the exhibits on WWII. I took my 10-year-old, and they loved it, but I’d suggest prepping them for the history. Also, make sure they can handle the walking since it’s a long day—about 8-9 hours!

Q: What should we wear for the Pearl Harbor tour? Is it super casual?

A: Casual but comfy is the way to go! You’ll be doing a lot of walking, so wear good shoes. Also, keep in mind it can get hot, so lightweight clothes are best. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen, especially if you're going in the summer!

Q: What’s the best way to get to Pearl Harbor from Waikiki?

A: The easiest way is by car or Uber. It’s about a 30-minute drive from Waikiki. If you’re taking public transport, the bus is an option, but it takes longer. Just make sure to plan ahead for parking; it can get busy!

Thinking about the Pearl Harbor tour as a gift - is it worth it?

Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting the Passport to Pearl Harbor tour for my dad's birthday. He’s a huge WWII buff! I love that it includes all four museums and the boat ride to the Arizona Memorial. But is it really as good as it sounds? Any tips from those who've done it would be great!

Just did the Pearl Harbor tour - wow!

I just got back from the Passport to Pearl Harbor tour with my family, and it was amazing! The in-person briefing at the Visitor Center was super informative, and the boat ride to the memorial really brought it all to life. Make sure you have good shoes—lots of walking! Totally recommend it as a gift for anyone interested in history.
